Black Sheep Brewery is a brewery in Masham, North Yorkshire, England. It was founded in 1992 by Paul Theakston, who left his family’s brewery, T&R Theakston after it was sold to Scottish & Newcastle. Black Sheep Brewery is now a public limited company with over 1,000 shareholders.
The brewery produces a range of beers, including its flagship Black Sheep Ale, which is a tawny bitter with a rich malty flavour. Other beers include the Yorkshire Blonde, the White Witch and the Hopping Hare.
