Northern Monk is an independent brewery based in Holbeck, Leeds. It was founded in 2013 by Russell Bisset and Brian Dickson. The brewery is known for its modern take on traditional beer styles, as well as its collaborations with other breweries and businesses.
Northern Monk’s core range of beers includes Faith (a hazy pale ale), Heathen (a New England IPA), Striding Edge (a light IPA), and Northern Star (a chocolate, caramel, and biscuit porter). The brewery also produces a range of seasonal and limited-edition beers.
In addition to its beers, Northern Monk also operates a taproom and beer hall in Leeds. The taproom offers a selection of Northern Monk beers on draft, as well as a range of food and snacks. The beer hall is a larger space that can be used for events and private parties.
