Joseph Holt is an independent family brewery founded in central Manchester in 1849. The company has remained family-owned for six generations and owns 127 pubs in Greater Manchester and the North West. Its beers are supplied to over 500 locations nationally.

The brewery has worked out of its current site since 1860. It is one of a handful of family breweries left in the UK after many were swallowed up by industry giants. The company operates 128 pubs in the north-west, serving cask beers, lagers and pub meals.
