Budweiser is an iconic American-style pale lager first introduced in 1876 by Carl Conrad & Co in St. Louis, Missouri. It’s now owned by AB InBev, the world’s largest brewer. Made from barley malt, rice (up to ~30%), hops, and water, Budweiser is filtered for a crisp, clean finish.

Part of Budweiser’s story is a long-running trademark dispute with Budweiser Budvar, a Czech brewery from České Budějovice, over the rights to the Budweiser name. Despite being a global brand, Budweiser still brews in multiple locations — at one point 63 breweries worldwide
