Elmeleven Brewing Co. is a Swedish independent craft brewery based in Arlöv, near Malmö, that’s become one of Scandinavia’s most talked-about names in fruit-forward sours and creative craft beer. Founded in 2019 as part of a brewing collective including Molecule Brewing, Elmeleven started with highly experimental, smoothie-style sour beers and has expanded into a broader portfolio that still centres on bold flavour and playful brewing.

Elmeleven’s house style leans heavily into thick, juicy, pastry and fruit sours (often known as PULP sours) packed with raspberry, banana, passionfruit and other fruits, creating beers that are more like a dessert-inspired smoothie than a traditional sour.

Beyond sours, they also brew hoppy IPAs and rich stouts, including barrel-aged imperial versions, showing they’re not afraid to push boundaries. Their beers are regularly featured in Swedish retail and on tap locally, and some expressions make it into export markets, often with collaborations across Europe.
