Hazy IPA, 6.5%
After trying out Magic Rock Brewing’s Precognition, I can say that I’m impressed. This New England-style IPA has an ABV of 6.5% and a juicy and tropical hop character with notes of peach, apricot, and mango. The beer’s soft and pillowy body is something that really stood out to me and added to the overall experience.
When I took a sip, I was hit with the fruity and juicy flavours right away. The tropical fruit notes were prominent, especially the peach and apricot flavours. The low bitterness made it easy to drink and allowed the fruity flavours to really shine. The smooth mouthfeel was also impressive, which is a characteristic of New England-style IPAs.
The beer’s hazy appearance was as I expected, which is a result of the large number of hops used during the brewing process. The use of Citra, Mosaic, and Simcoe hops was a great combination as they blended together perfectly to create a fruity and citrusy flavour profile.
Overall, I would definitely recommend Magic Rock Brewing’s Precognition to any fans of juicy and fruity IPAs. The brewery has a great reputation for producing high-quality craft beer, and this beer is no exception. I will definitely be reaching for another can of this beer in the future.
